Hans Hulscher was born in Bandung, Indonesia. He has been active as a director of television and film productions in the cultural domain since 1975, as a staff member of NOS’/ NPS’ Cultural Department until 2001, and as a free-lancer since. The larger part of his projects consists of co-productions with or commissioned by foreign broadcasters. Most of his productions are released on DVD and are on sale in or can be ordered from the audio/video shops.
His work has been awarded a respectable number of prizes.
